Working with Avonlea has been one of the great joys of my career. As a singer and performer myself, I recognized her passion and talent immediately when she began to study with me at the young age of eleven. Her love of music, evident from day one, fueled her studies, and resulted in her knowledge growing exponentially. I have watched her songwriting, keyboard, and vocal skills develop through the years as she became the young professional she is today. In addition she is a nice person, engaging and kind. I have no doubt that Avonlea can deliver the goods, whether it is songwriting help such as structure (she has an amazing ear for harmony, melody, and storyline), top lining or arranging ideas. Honestly, an amazing session overall. We spoke about what I wanted out of the song and the sessions. Avonlea had great ideas and constantly checked in with me to make sure the lyrics worked for me and that they were something I was satisfied with. Played around with ideas and melodies until I was happy with the way it all sounded. Such a fun session and ended up with a sick song. Definitely will be working with her on future projects!
